  • Associate Quality Engineer - This position is responsible for quality inspection, disposition and receipt of incoming parts. Requires close communication with Purchasing personnel, Manufacturing Engineers, and suppliers to improve quality, reduce costs, improve production flows, and maintain a safe work environment. Uses Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) and other precision measuring tools to ensure incoming parts meet critical specifications. Manages processes for sub-contract parts that are sent out for secondary operations. Focuses on continuously improving lead time of parts.
  • Data Management Team Member - This position provides assistance and support to the Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and Production Planning functions. Position manages existing data while ensuring accurate and timely loading of bills of material and parts data into business system (Epicor); processes “Quick Jobs”, floor stock maintenance, and monthly metrics. Position is responsible for the administration of the ECO Process Site and procedures. Position supports workflow functions by moving among various assignments as needed. Work may be performed in an office setting and/or in the manufacturing area as needed.
  • Electrical, Mechanical, OR Electro-Mechanical Assembler (2nd shift) - Displays knowledge of Electrical Theory and usage of NEC and NFPA 79 in the assembly of machines with AC and DC circuits. Reads engineering drawings to assemble, rebuild, and repair electrical and mechanical components of machinery for CMD products. Sets up and operates a variety of power tools (such as drill press, band saw and stud welder), to assist in the assembly of machines and components. Works unsupervised and provides training and cross-training to other employees. Coordinates with engineering personnel, and makes changes as required to update print packages. This is a second shift position working 10-hours days, Monday - Thursday (2:25pm - 12:55am).
  • Electrical, Mechanical, OR Electro-Mechanical Assembler (3rd shift) - Displays knowledge of Electrical Theory and usage of NEC and NFPA 79 in the assembly of machines with AC and DC circuits. Reads engineering drawings to assemble, rebuild, and repair electrical and mechanical components of machinery for CMD products. Sets up and operates a variety of power tools (such as drill press, band saw and stud welder), to assist in the assembly of machines and components. Works unsupervised and provides training and cross-training to other employees. Coordinates with engineering personnel, and makes changes as required to update print packages. This is a third shift position working 10-hours days, Monday - Thursday (9:30pm - 8:00am).
  • Qualified Welder/Assembler 1 - This position performs the welding function and prepares machinery for machining, paint and assembly functions. Possesses knowledge of pipefitting/welding/mechanical and light electrical work.
  • Software Engineer - Under general direction, the software engineer shall compose, maintain, and consult on software solutions in collaboration with electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and CMD-Flex4. This position will keep abreast of related technologies and industry developments, proposing opportunities associated with tools, techniques, platforms, communication, machine learning and artificial intelligence in support of Industry 4.0. This position will leverage informatics and systems developed internally and with other solution providers to advance CMD’s technological position. This is an exempt position where the employee’s work week should generally be 40 hours with the understanding that occasional duties and responsibilities may require extra time outside of normal working hours, including, without limitation, international travel, urgent situations, project deadlines, and overnight assignments.
