Utilities Manufacturing Engineer - 055135 - The Georgia Pacific Green Bay Broadway Mill has an opening for a manufacturing engineer in their Utilities area.  The manufacturing engineer will report directly to the Utilities Manager and will have broad responsibility for environmental compliance, safety, reliability, cost and managing within an ownership based work system.  Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED, An Associate Degree or higher in Engineering or a technical field with two (2) or more years of experience OR in lieu of a degree, four (4) or more years of experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the pulp or paper industry
  • Experience in the power and utilities industry 
  • Equipment and/or manufacturing systems reliability experience

Logistics Manufacturing Engineer - They are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineer for their Logistics area at the Green Bay Broadway Mill.  This position will play a key role as we continue to implement automation into the facility.  The manufacturing engineer will closely work with both reliability and maintenance departments in the development of long-term asset strategies for automated guided vehicles, palletizers, and supporting equipment. This is a key role to ensuring we meet the challenge of improving at a faster rate than our competition. The successful candidate will advance our culture by ensuring the organization is aligned and capable of executing long term automation and reliability strategies. Basic Qualifications: Engineering, Electromechanical, Automation Technology or IT degree (minimum associates degree), Or in lieu of a degree, 2 years’ experience in manufacturing, robotic palletizing, and/or Automation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Programming Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs)
  • Experience with Asset Strategy Development, Root Cause Analysis and Failure Modes & Effects Analysis
  • Experience initiating and/or executing capital projects
  • Equipment and/or manufacturing systems reliability experience. Experience with Automation and Control Engineering (Automation/Electrical Engineering or Industrial Automation) along with Systems Integration (IT). 
  • Computer skills:  Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook -  willing and able to learn process and reliability software.
