Membership Benefits

A large segment of manufacturers throughout northeast Wisconsin are growing more concerned about the lack of skilled manufacturing workers. As baby boomers retire, there are fewer and fewer people entering the manufacturing field to replace these workers. How can our companies continue to prosper, if they do not have the workforce they need? The Northeast Wisconsin Manufacturing Alliance is a group of manufacturers, working with educational institutions, workforce development boards, chambers of commerce, and state organizations to promote manufacturing in our 18 county region. Benefits of joining the NEW Manufacturing Alliance include the following.

  • Complimentary exhibit booth during the Internship Draft Day at Lambeau Field.
  • Access to a displaced workforce of skilled labor.
  • Your company's job openings can be posted on the Alliance's website.
  • The Alliance can tweet your job openings and company news to its over 1,000 followers.
  • Your company’s website will be linked on  the NEW Manufacturing Alliance website.
  • Schools will have information about your company’s outreach programs.
  • Your company’s college internship opportunities can be posted on the Alliance website.

Annual Dues Structure for Manufacturers

Total Number of Employees in Wisconsin & Cost per Year:

1 to 50 Employees $600
51 to 250 Employees $750
251 to 500 Employees $1,000
>500 Employees $1,500

 

Associate Membership is available to non-manufacturing organizations and institutions that rely on a successful manufacturing sector, including service providers, suppliers, financial organizations, insurers, transporters, law firms, construction, third-party logistics, and distributors.  Associate members can only comprise 50 percent of the overall membership (Manufacturers plus Associate).  The annual membership fee is $1,500.  All Associate members must be approved by the steering committee.

Benefits of Associate Membership:

  • Networking with manufacturers.
  • Speaking opportunities at quarterly NEWMA general membership meetings.
  • Booth space in the Manufacturing First Expo & Conference, along with event tickets.
  • Complimentary exhibit booth during the Internship Draft Day at Lambeau Field.
  • Your company’s website will be linked on the NEW Manufacturing Alliance website.
  • Your dues will help fund $40,000 in local college scholarships for 2017.
  • Joint grant applications.
  • Employees can be nominated/featured in the All Stars magazine (employee must work in a manufacturing-related career)
  • Work in partnership with manufacturers in improving manufacturing in the New North region.
