The NEW Manufacturing Alliance is proud to announce the 7th annual Get Real Math & Science Premiere on October 5th at the Meyer Theatre.

This free event gives you the opportunity to see the new Get Real Math and for the first time ever Get Real Science videos, plus win $500 for your school’s math and science departments!

The Alliance’s Get Real Math & Science videos showcase how these core subjects are used in the real world.  In addition, it provides schools a tool to use in academic and career planning (ACP).  The videos were created when an educator asked the Alliance five years ago how she could answer the question asked by many of her students:  “When am I ever going to use this in the real world?” 

All of the videos are available at no cost, including the lesson plans that were written by educators.  To view ‘What does toilet paper have to do with math?’ go to:

The October 5th event will include:

  • A cocktail networking reception will be held in the new Backstage at the Meyer Theatre from 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
  • Pete Petoniak with WLUK will be our emcee for the evening.
  • At 6:00 p.m., attendees will enter the theatre, which will feature 5 of the new videos.
