Fabricator/Welder: The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and components according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of welding techniques, blueprint reading, and adherence to safety standards. The fabricator/welder will work with various materials, primarily sheet metal and will utilize equipment such as cranes and rigs to complete projects efficiently. Pay: $21
Duties:

  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand project specifications.
  • Fabricate and assemble metal components using various welding techniques.
  • Operate cranes and rigging equipment safely to move heavy materials during the fabrication process.
  • Ensure all work adheres to industry codes and standards for quality and safety.
  • Perform soldering tasks as required for specific projects.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and specifications.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in welding and fabrication, particularly with sheet metal.
  • Knowledge of welding codes and standards relevant to the industry.
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical drawings.
  • Ability to operate cranes and rigging equipment safely.
  • Familiarity with various welding techniques, including FCAW, MIG, TIG, etc.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Machinist — Lathe Operator: Responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC lathe machines to produce precision components that meet strict quality standards. Your expertise in machining processes, blueprint interpretation, and technical skills will ensure efficient production and continuous improvement of our manufacturing operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced equipment and contribute to high-quality product development in a fast-paced environment. Pay: $24 per hour.
Experience:

  • Proven experience operating CNC lathes within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC programming including G-code editing.
  • Familiarity with blueprint reading, GD&T standards, and mechanical drawings is essential.
  • Hands-on experience with precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
  • Basic math skills necessary for calculating dimensions, feeds, speeds, and tolerances during machining processes.
  • Mechanical aptitude with understanding of tooling setup, maintenance procedures, welding techniques and assembly processes.
  • Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently when handling raw materials or finished parts.
  • Experience working within lean manufacturing environments focused on continuous improvement is highly desirable.

Vertical Machining Center (VMC) Machinist: Responsible for operating VMC’s to produce precision parts and components according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of programming, blueprint reading and machining processes. The VMC Machinist will work closely with production staff to ensure high-quality output while adhering to safety standards and lean manufacturing principles. Pay: $24 to $28.91 per hour.
Duties:

  • Vertical Machining Center experience required.
  • Adjust machine controls and change tool settings to keep dimensions within specified tolerances.
  • Compute unspecified dimensions and machine settings, using knowledge of metal properties and shop mathematics.
  • Inspect sample workpieces to verify conformance with specifications, using instruments such as gauges, micrometers and dial indicators.
  • Move controls to set cutting speeds and depths and feed rates, and to position tools in relation to workpieces.
  • Move toolholders manually or by turning handwheels, or engage automatic feeding mechanisms to feed tools to and along workpieces.
  • Position, secure, and align cutting tools in toolholders on machines, using hand tools, and verify their positions with measuring instruments.
  • Replace worn tools, and sharpen dull cutting tools and dies using bench grinders or cutter-grinding machines.
  • Select cutting tools and tooling instructions, according to written specifications or knowledge of metal properties and shop mathematics.
  • Study blueprints, layouts or charts and job orders for information on specifications and tooling instructions, and to determine material requirements and operational sequences.

Metal Saw Operator: The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various saws to produce high-quality components according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment all within a 4-day work week (10 hour days). Pay: $19 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain saws and cutting machines, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine cutting specifications.
  • Perform quality inspections on finished products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and a tape measure.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure production goals are met while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working in the manufacturing environment.

Skills:

  • Knowledge of mechanical systems and manufacturing processes.
  • Strong basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
  • Competence in using various hand tools and chain hoists.
  • Strong attention to detail.
