The Wasmer Company is seeking two full-time Energy Engineers to join our growing team—one based in the Milwaukee area and one in the Green Bay area. These engineers will play a key role in helping industrial and commercial clients identify, develop, and implement projects that reduce energy waste, improve operational efficiency and support long-term sustainability goals.
Our engineers work directly with facility teams to evaluate systems, uncover improvement opportunities, and drive projects from concept through implementation. Typical focus areas include compressed air, HVAC, process systems, lighting and building automation.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering required.
- 5+ years of professional experience in manufacturing, industrial systems or energy-related engineering.
- Strong knowledge of plant systems such as HVAC, lighting, compressed air, pumps and motors.
- Working familiarity with utility incentives and energy efficiency programs preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification preferred.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma or continuous improvement methods a plus.
- Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites across Midwest.
