General Manager
We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead World Class Manufacturing, its CNC machining and metal fabrication facility in Weyauwega. The GM will oversee day-to-day operations, including production, quality, safety, workforce development, customer performance, and plant financials.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead operations across CNC machining, metal fabrication, and finishing, including scheduling, capacity planning, and on-time delivery.
- Oversee quality systems, safety programs, and OSHA compliance.
- Recruit, develop, and retain machinists, fabricators, and supervisors.
- Manage plant P&L, including labor, materials, scrap, overhead, throughput, and margins.
- Support quoting, capital investment, new program launches, and customer relationships.
- Use production data and metrics to improve utilization, quality, delivery, and profitability.
Qualifications
Candidates should have management experience in a CNC machining and/or metal fabrication environment, hands-on knowledge of machining or related metal-forming processes, plant P&L experience, and a strong background in quality, safety, and skilled-trades leadership. Experience with ERP/MRP systems is also required.
Compensation: $150,000–$175,000 base salary plus performance bonus, with health, dental and vision insurance and a 401(k) company match.

CNC Machine Operator – Level I
World Class Manufacturing is seeking a CNC Machine Operator – Level I to operate CNC production equipment and produce precision machined parts. This position works under the supervision of a trainer or team leader and includes hands-on training in machining, inspection, print reading, and equipment operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate one or more types of CNC production equipment
- Use basic measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and go/no-go gauges
- Complete production documentation and records
- Perform basic preventive maintenance
- Learn to identify tool wear and change tools
- Develop basic blueprint and print-reading skills
- Maintain a clean and safe work area

CNC Machine Operator – Level II
World Class Manufacturing is seeking a CNC Machine Operator – Level II to operate CNC production cells and produce precision machined parts. This position requires greater independence and machining knowledge, including tool changes, blueprint interpretation, quality checks, and basic troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC production cells, including lathes and mills
- Load and unload parts across multiple CNC machines
- Identify worn tooling and change tools and inserts as needed
- Machine parts to tolerances tighter than .001″
- Interpret blueprints, including section views, detail views, GD&T, and process routing
- Perform basic troubleshooting involving tooling, fixturing, and tool/work offsets
- Complete required quality checks
- Maintain a clean and safe work area

CNC Machine Operator – Level III

This more advanced operator role requires the ability to run a wide range of jobs, complete changeovers, troubleshoot machine issues, and make tooling and offset adjustments independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Run most jobs on the shop floor with flexibility across equipment and work cells
- Perform changeovers for similar jobs within a production cell
- Troubleshoot machine problems and errors
- Use and make basic edits to G&M code
- Perform rework operations when needed
- Identify when tool or work offsets are required and make adjustments independently
- Maintain a clean and safe work area

Maintenance Technician
World Class Manufacturing is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the reliability and uptime of approximately 120 CNC mills and lathes, along with the compressors, coolant systems, and other equipment that keep production running. This role combines preventive maintenance with hands-on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on CNC mills and lathes
- Diagnose and repair electrical issues using schematics, meters, and machine diagnostics
- Repair motors, drives, servos, sensors, switches, and control wiring
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical components including spindles, ballscrews, gearboxes, turrets, tool changers, and chucks
- Service hydraulic, pneumatic, compressor, coolant, filtration, and mist-collection systems
- Respond to machine breakdowns and prioritize repairs based on production needs
- Support building maintenance, machine moves, rigging, and utility hookups
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and critical spare-parts inventory
Qualifications
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience involving both electrical and mechanical work
- Hands-on experience maintaining and repairing CNC machine tools
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults using schematics and a multimeter
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical drive components
- Willingness to work 1st or 2nd shift and participate in rotating on-call coverage

Set-Up Machinist
World Class Manufacturing is seeking a Set-Up Machinist to prepare CNC work cells for production, prove out jobs, and ensure processes are ready before they are handed off to operators. This role involves tooling, fixtures, programs, gaging, first-article inspection, and troubleshooting setup issues until the process is stable and repeatable.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare CNC work cells with the required tooling, fixtures, workholding, offsets, and programs
- Load and prove out CNC programs and dial machines in to print
- Run and measure first-article parts before Quality inspection
- Correct tooling, offset, and process issues until parts conform
- Hand off completed setups to production operators with clear instructions
- Maintain setup sheets, gaging instructions, tool lists, and routings
- Support process documentation and recommend improvements that reduce setup time or improve quality
- Record labor, quantities, and setup time in NetSuite
Qualifications
- Hands-on CNC setup experience with mills, lathes, or both
- Ability to read prints and GD&T
- Experience using micrometers, indicators, calipers, and gage pins
- Ability to read and edit CNC programs at the control
- Understanding of offsets and workholding
- Ability to work independently and keep jobs moving
