The 28 Get Real Math videos showcase over 40 math skills used in the real world. The videos serve as a capstone after a skill is learned in school to be applied in a real world situation at a manufacturing company. Math skills featured are 3rd grade through high school. The lesson plans were created by math teachers.

Common Core Mathematical Content Standards:

3.MD.4: Generate measurement data by measuring lengths using rulers marked with halves and fourths of an inch.

4.MD.6: Measure angles in whole number degrees using a protractor.


7.G.1: Solve problems involving scale drawings of geometric figures, including computing actual lengths from a scale drawing and reproducing a scale drawing at a different scale.

8.G.7: Apply the Pythagorean Theorem to find the distance between two points in a coordinate system.
